Soy Gabriela Ortiz Monasterio, mexicana, madre de cuatro hijos. Mi pasión desde siempre ha sido la escultura blanda y el teatro de títeres, por ser una forma de comunicación increiblemente poderosa para romper todas las barreras. Mediante ella, logro llegar directamente al niño que todos llevamos dentro, el cual es nuestra parte más expresiva, juguetona, fresca y natural: el corazón de nuestra creatividad. Me fascina utilizar su poder para el desarrollo humano, para motivar y capacitar y así apoyarnos para rencontrar a ese niño interior... y éstas son algunas de mis creaciones...
 
 
My name is Gabriela Ortiz Monasterio, I am Mexican and mother of four children. My passion has always been soft sculpting and puppets. I love puppets. They are a very powerful means of communication for they break through most barriers. Puppets help me to reach the child we all have within, which is our most expressive, playful, fresh and natural part: the core of our creative self. I love using their power to inspire people to reclaim that inner child... and these are a few of my creations...

Hi Gabriela,

 

Do you have a (YouTube) video of one of your shows?

Would be lovely to see the puppets in action (preferably in English though...)
